		This is my attempt as a middle-of-the-road player to explain the key concepts and strategies in crazyhouse to people who either want to improve their game or understand how it is their opponent just soundly thumped them 15 times in a row.
		Crazyhouse is a game played under the normal rules of chess with the following exception: any piece taken during the game becomes a "droppable" piece for the taker in lieu of moving a piece on the board.
		Consider a case where the king is on e8 and the queen is on a4 with a pawn on c4.

		On Ebenfelt's comment that crazyhouse can be played OTB if you have two sets of pieces: it's gets too hectic - every time you capture something you have to go to the "piece bank" to trade the captured piece for one of the opposite color.
		I can think of one other way that crazyhouse is better than bughouse, and maybe this one is the biggest point in its favor: you can't blame your losses on your partner.

		i think the trouble is, so many people have played crazyhouse heaps, or often, but are now interested in other new variants etc etc and don't feel inclinded to vote for it.
		The poll for the summer addition to the list isn't over yet, and you can go vote for Crazyhouse in it. not a hour goes by on the planet where a crazyhouse game is not being played, and that is a conservative estimate.

		On the net, i found crazyhouse first on the swedish chess server SICS and from there it was given to MEWIS, which was from the beginning probably a swedish server too.
