CreationWiki is a late knockoff of the brilliant idea of EvoWiki.
CreationWiki is a storehouse of information on creation science where the community is able to share freely.

Secondly, I did update the CreationWiki article so if you are interested in BSF you might want to look at.
It seems a new push may be on (look at CreationWiki the 101 BSF advertisement for the pamphlet).
So far the article has gotten over 1,000 hits and those are only the internal hits at CreationWiki and do not include JP Holding's (part of those hits were created in the article's creation).

CreationWiki editing guidelines - If Creationists were to come here and edit your wiki it would annoy you and you would ban us, I'm sure.
CreationWiki as they see themselves: This is not an impartial wiki.

The CreationWiki is a resource for Christians and Creationists primarily, so it is no worry for me if you don't like it.
I still think, though, CreationWiki aside, your attitude is disappointing.
CreationWiki will, hopefully, include many references to authoritative sources, and be a single location for beginning to learn more about certain Creation topics.

In addition to the restricting of editing privileges to registered users who must also be believers of creationism, CreationWiki does not allow editors to delete, revert or edit actions or edits made by the CreationWiki administrators.
Editors are also not permitted to delete content that is in dispute, e.g.; old earth creationists are not allowed edit young earth content or visa versa.
As of Spring 2005 CreationWiki was relatively small, with a total of less than 110 registered editors, 4 sysops/admins, and 2 bureaucrats.

Lastly, on the topic of using the title CreationWiki when we don't support old earth creation theories, I have little to say other than I don't think it matters.
My point is and was that a wiki does not, by it's very nature, lend itself to the model you're seeking.

According to EvoWiki, CreationWiki is a late knockoff of the brilliant idea of EvoWiki.
Only creationists (http://www.nwcreation.net/wiki/index.php?title=Creationist) are permitted to contribute to the CreationWiki.
Since many viewpoints (including the standard scientific viewpoint) are off-limits there, one shouldn't expect arguments in CreationWiki to be based on scientific rationale.

He also repeatedly told me about CreationWiki which I didn't think it was his place to do.
Thus, I believe Duncharris's telling me about CreationWiki was missplaced.

Seems more likely that there is someone trying to make creationists look stupid so is pretending to be one.
That was my first thought too - but a bit of digging in the creationwiki logs shows it's been there a long time and the site administrators have edited that section frequently - and the admins are usually very prompt about removing unwanted content.* So I reckon there's at least one creationist who believes it.
