	Creature Double Feature - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
		Creature Double Feature and shows like it were staples of local television markets through the 1970s and early 1980s; sometimes also aired under names like Sci-Fi Flix and Creature Feature.
		After continuing with Creature Feature in the 8pm timeslot for a few months, the station expanded the show to include two movies and moved it to a Saturday afternoon timeslot; usually noon to 4pm, or 1pm to 4pm.
		The intro/outro music used for Creature Double Feature throughout its run was Emerson, Lake and Palmer's "Toccata" from Brain Salad Surgery.

	Bob Wilkins Creature Features
		Creature Features made it's debut on Channel 2 (KTVU) in 1971, and was an immediate success with it's grade- Z horror films and Bob's dry sense of humor.
		The show quickly expanded to a double feature format and Bob even joined the Channel 2 eleven o'clock news as the weatherman.
		After 2 years, Bob Wilkins grew tired of the show, and he was tired of Creature Features as well.

		It appears Creature Feature was shown at 8:00 pm on Saturdays in 1976 according to the TV Guide that Nathan Has provided.

		Protection from creature type is tricky since the creature has to exist in enough quantity to make the effect matter in limited.

		It was always called 'Creature Double Feature'.....but it showed a different horror flick each week.
		And yes, it was always the 'creature from the fl lagoon' and 'the Mummy'....things like that.
		I remember spending hour upon hour watching many of their classic films Saturday afternoon on "Creature Double Feature." Their success went well beyond remaking many of the Universal Monster Movie (in fact their Dracula series of films starring Christopher Lee and Peter Cushing far exceeded their American counterpart).

		This web site is dedicated to the memory of Omaha's horror movie host Dr. San Guinary, who hosted CREATURE FEATURE for ten years from 1971-1981 on KMTV Channel 3.
