		Burns and McDonnell Inc. said Tuesday that the city of Crestwood, Mo., awarded it a $200,000 contract to provide engineering design and consulting services for a new bridge to be built on Pardee Road over Gravois Creek.
		Preliminary design plans are to be submitted to the city of Crestwood by September this year, and final design and right-of-way plans are to be submitted by July 2008, according to a release.
		The new bridge will be located just upstream from the current bridge and will be a multispan structure featuring two 12-foot-wide drive lanes, two shoulders and a 5-foot-wide pedestrian walkway.
