Cricklade College has had a busy month, The Student Services department has been acredited with the new MATRIX award for advice and guidance (only the third college in Hampshire to receive the accreditiation) and the Marketing department won the FE1st Award for best segmented brochure.
CRICKLADE College's marketing department has proved to have a winning team after their recent efforts to highlight the basic skills need in Andover and to engage learners received double recognition.
Cricklade College scooped first prize for their 2003/04 full time prospectus at the FE First Marketing Awards, a national competition with record attendance and entries from Further Education colleges from all over the UK.

 The Wiltshire Web - Edington Priory
Cricklade is midway between Cirencester and Swindon, just off the A419 and is the northernmost town in Wiltshire.
The massive tower of the parish church with its four tall rounded turrets dominates Cricklade and is a landmark for miles around.

Cricklade is a small town, lying just outside the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and is the only Wiltshire town situated on the banks of the River Thames.
The River Thames was navigable as far up river as Cricklade and a wharf was built near Town Bridge at the North Wall end of the town.
It was filled in during the early years of the 19th century about 50 years after the arrival of the Thames and Severn Canal in 1789.

The Cricklade Town Crier started the race at 10am from the High Street and the sixty racing cyclists had ten laps ahead of them including the ascent of Common Hill each lap.
As in previous years this race was part of the Cricklade Festival week with proceeds towards local charity, Jubilee Gardens Project, based at Purton Stoke.
The finish is situated in Cricklade between the roundabout leaving the B4553 and the roundabout at the Leisure Centre.
