Criminal Law is worth watching if for nothing else than to see Gary Oldman and Kevin Bacon together; the scenes with the two of them verbally sparring have an ominous energy to them.

Criminal Law, if not taken very seriously and with more than a grain of salt, can be entertaining, but it fails miserably when compared to accurate, exciting legal thrillers such as Primal Fear.
