Anthony Cris Collinsworth (born January 27, 1959 in Dayton, Ohio), is a former American football player and current television sportscaster.
During his NFL career, Cris Collinsworth reached the 1,000 reception yardage mark four times (in 1981, 1983, 1985, and 1986) and was named to the Pro Bowl in 1981, 1982 and 1983.
In 1985, Collinsworth signed with the Tampa Bay Bandits of the United States Football League, but the contract was voided when he failed the physical due to a bad ankle.

Collinsworth, who had an eight-year NFL career as a Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver, says he initially thought -- and hoped -- Ebersol was contacting him to be NBC's game analyst, the position he held at FOX last season.
