KDHX Theatre Review - My Fair Lady   (Site not responding. Last check: 2007-10-26)
In Crista Moore, we have an Eliza that spans the entire spectrum of Elizas, with a trace of Wendy Hiller in her speaking voice, occasionally handing out the kind of goosebumps with a singing voice that now and then gleams like Julie Andrews’, and just enough of the wounded charm of Audrey Hepburn.
Moore wound-up for the pitch, at the Ascot opening day, to eagerly tell the unfortunate story of her alcoholic parents (which I am embarrassed to say, is more hilarious than ever).
Moore confronts him near the bitter end to announce, “I’ll go and be a teacher,” (a voice teacher like his Higgins) it’s a very satisfying moment of discovery for us all (for all but Higgins, that is).

Favorite Louise/Gypsy Rose Lee in "GYPSY"?
So although she wasn't perfect by any means, I'm picking Crista Moore.
Not only was her transformation from gawky Louise to sexy-as-all-hell Gypsy Rose Louise amazing, but she was one of the only ones that had a terrific set of pipes on her.
Of those I've seen (Wood, Blanchard, Moore, Gibb) I'd have to say Moore because she could sing AND act the role.
