		The band recorded a self titled EP, released in 1998, and went on tour supporting label-mates Moonspell.
		The band was accompanied for this tour by guitarist Cristiano Migliore and drummer Cristiano Mozzati.
		Following a second European tour, the band recorded their debut full-length album, In a Reverie, and added second guitarist Marco Biazzi.

		Their arrival marks a turn in the band's vibe, a heavy mood is lifted and the result is a new enthusiasm.

		LACUNA COIL guitarist Cristiano Migliore has revealed to Wichita's F5 that the Italian quintet have written roughly 15 tracks since the release of 2002's "Comalies" and will work on recording a new disc toward the end of this year with a projected release date of early 2005.
		With regards to the band's upcoming appearance at this year's Ozzfest, Migliore said, "I grew up listening to OZZY, SLAYER Ã¢EUR" all those bands.
		According to Migliore, LACUNA COIL had no idea that its latest offering, "Comalies", would have the kind of legs that it has had since seeing the light of day in the dimming hours of 2002.

	Transcending the Mundane: Review of 'In A Reverie' by Lacuna Coil
		The album begins with the emotional "Circle," as guitarist Cristiano Migliore and bassist Marco Coti Zelati (who co-write most of the band's material) build up to a driving crescendo of a chorus in which Scabbia's sweet voice shines with frustration and despair.
		Ferro is such an object on "Honeymoon Suite," as he takes the role of her bitter and estranged lover, raging at her to leave his life as she cries for his forgiveness.
		Drummer Cristiano Mozzati gets into the act on "My Wings," with thunderous beats that lead up to a huge chorus in which Ferro's death grunt and Scabbia's siren call mix to create something truly explosive.
