All songs must still be three-minutes or less in length, although many artists record the song in a longer version, simply performing a shorter version at the Contest.
However, it should be remembered that as viewers only vote for one song, this issue would only have affected the voting if a substantial number of people had had the British entry as their favourite but decided not to vote for it because of the war.

The songs that i enjoyed are as follows, Tom Morley from the U.K with his 'My Song for the world' was excellent the lyrics are about making the world a better place, the song really is touching, he came third.
The girls who sing this song seem to shout it and near the end they appear to laugh at each other for a few seconds i dont know whether this was intentional but it doesnt sound right for the song.
The Eurovision Song Contest will always have a place in my heart because its a fun, eagerly anticipated, and a suspenseful event thats fun to watch (especially when its score time.) The Junior version was well done and impressed me a lot, if you get a chace to watch it i recommend you do so.

I'm not certain about the backing dancers - the small brunette on the right was good (her in the picture on the left) - but the tall one seemed to be out of sync, not to mention a lot bigger than everybody else which looked weird (picture on the right).
This was another one of those songs that came, did something, and went quietly into the dark night...
