		Crosscrypt seems to work for both Linux and Windows, I tried it for Windows.
		I am surprised that project doesn't get more interest/support since the body of people to contribute, both Linux and Windows, is bigger then stand alone platform encryption programs like TrueCrypt.

		While the Crosscrypt driver supports multi-line keys it does not as yet support partition-backed loops, which seriously reduces its utility as a cross-platform (ie with linux) loop-aes implementation because of the "lock-up" (system freeze) issues with file-backed loops under linux.
		At the bottom of the webpage however, the author seemed to indicate that instructions for device-backed loops were coming.

		CrossCrypt is based on disk driver Filedisk by Bo Brantèn + crypto from Libtomcrypt by Tom Saint-Denis.
		Bo has found a bug in Filedisk, which is the cause of CC being slow after a while on large disks.

		Salve, Io utilizzo partizioni cryptate con crosscrypt, solo che mi sono accorto che se per errore monto un disco con una password sbagliata crosscrypt mi propone di fomattare la partizione.
		Non è un comportamento strano di CrossCrypt, bensì della shell di Windows...
		Sono d'accordo sul funzionamento di Crosscrypt, solo che se io monto una unità digitando la password errata e poi clicco su "OK" quando il SO mi chiede fi formattarla, anche senza formattarla, mi sono giocato tutto il contenuto.
