Subject: (erielack) DL&W Scranton Station Listers, The Scranton Times piece back in Dec said that the U of Scranton was not interested in acquiring the station as a dorm because the room per sq ft of structure ratio was inefficient for dormitory use.
The station is an anchor in Scranton, a great piece of architecture that most cities either don't have or didn't keep.
Article went on to say that the U of Scranton was considering buying the structure as a "lab" for a school of hospitality much in the same manner as Cornell University has a working hotel on their Ithaca, NY campus as a part of what was once called the school of hotel management.
