	Crucifucks - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
		The Crucifucks were a Lansing, Michigan-based punk rock band formed in 1982.
		A picture of a Philadelphia police officer posing as shot -- originally part of a public relations campaign [1] to obtain wage concessions from the city [2] -- was used on the album's back cover.
		Many of their other songs are similarly harsh, attacking the American government (and America in general), and religion, particularly Christianity in an effort to drive home the point that blind faith in anything, be it patriotism or religion, is bad.

		To call the Crucifucks' career a "13 year legacy" may be a tad misleading.
		The Crucifucks came to full fruition with the release of their debut, self titled LP in 1983.
		This lawsuit did not mark the end of the Crucifucks, rather, it just resparked the original anger with a corrupt system that fueled them to venture forth into musical territories in the first place.

	Doc Corbin Dart - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
		He is the son of Rollin Dart, chairman of the Dart National Bank, and more distantly related to the Dart Container family.
		The Crucifucks formed in 1982 and signed to Jello Biafra's Alternative Tentacles Records.
		In 1998, The Crucifucks reformed and did a brief national tour, including a performance at Alternative Tentacles' 20th Aniiversary Party.

		The Crucifucks were just about one of the most threatening assaults of hardcore in the early 80's.

		I was with MDC (Millions of Dead Cops...as a manager) who played with the Crucifucks many times, and I can tell you that at the time, and even now it seems, the music spoke to a part of society that has been totally left out of any type of "representation" in society.

		Unfortunately, little else about the record is amusing: rudimentary slow-to-mid-speed punk with a truly obnoxious vocals by Doc Corbin Dart and obvious topical songs like "Hinckley Had a Vision," "Cops for Fertilizer" and "Go Bankrupt and Die." (Historical footnote: future Sonic Youth drummer Steve Shelley was behind the skins for this auspicious debut.)
		Eulogizing the cheese state (where it was recorded) on their second LP, the Crucifucks unveil a surprising bit of wit and musical development.
		Dart still sounds like Pete Shelley's tuneless nerd cousin, but intelligent, politically correct lyrics ("Laws Against Laughing," "The Savior") and well-recorded electric and acoustic guitar raunch ("Concession Stand," "Pig in a Blanket") make Wisconsin commendable to, say, fans of the Dead Kennedys.

	Crucifucks : Crucifucks - Listen, Review and Buy at ARTISTdirect
		It's on Alternative Tentacles from the mid-'80s and it has a name like that -- easy-listening samba this is not.
		Still, while the Crucifucks burn with a righteous (perhaps self-righteous at times) rage, it has to be said that Doc Corbin Dart's vocals are either a total laugh or nervously aggressive, depending on what one thinks of the group's worth.
		Either way, they're high-pitched and deliver in a tone that seems to indicate a politically aware nerd high on ten cups of coffee and feeling particularly on edge -- but even fans have to admit some of his squeaks push the tolerance level.
