Albert "Cubby" Broccoli, the producer of all seventeen James Bond films died in his home Thursday of a heart ailment.
Broccoli can claim credit for much of the Bond series success and has been a guiding force in all of the movies.
Broccoli's production company, EON, (which stands for "Everything Or Nothing") is a subsidiary of Danjaq, but the death of Broccoli will have little impact since he has recently shared the workload with his wife and his stepson Michael Wilson.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 1, 1996, at the Good Shepherd Church in Beverly Hills, at 10:00 a.m.
