Topic: Cull Section

  Crabpot Cull Ring
Requiring different sized cull rings in the Bay, where the harvest consists mainly of female crabs, and in the tributaries, where the harvest is primarily male crabs, would be burdensome.
This regulation establishes a requirement for the use of cull rings in crab pots, and is promulgated pursuant to the authority contained in §28.2-201 of the Code of Virginia.
The required 2 5/16 inches inside diameter cull ring may be obstructed in crab pots set on the seaside of Accomack and Northampton Counties or within the crab dredge areas, as set forth in Chapter 4 VAC 20-90-10 et seq., or within Pocomoke or Tangier Sound.

SGI TPL (IRIX 6.5: Developer/Perf_PG - Chapter 4. Database Traversal)
The cull traversal processing is much as described earlier; in particular, the draw traversal masks are compared and the node is checked for visibility before the traversal continues on to the node's children.
The cull traversal begins at the root node of a channel's scene graph (the pfScene node) and continues downward, directed by the results of the cull test at each node.
In the cull phase of the rendering pipeline, OpenGL Performer invokes the cull callback with a pointer to the pfChannel that is being culled and a pointer to the pfChannel's passthrough data buffer.

Section 15. Suspension and removal of officers.
The Secretary of State is included in this section, and hence may only be removed for one of the causes herein set out unless possibly with the consent of the Senate without cause.
- Under this section, the Governor is authorized, for incompetency or misconduct, to remove a registrar of voters for the fourth election district of Anne Arundel County, who was appointed by the Governor with the advice and consent of the Senate.
County school commissioners are not "civil officers" within the meaning of this section or of § 13, and hence may not be removed by the Governor for incompetency or misconduct.

Cull: The ability of the commission to determine the services rendered by an enrolled medical practitioner or in a diagnostic facility that are not benefits under the act is currently by regulation under the existing act.
Cull: The definitions are in section 1 of the act, but the easy definition is that a medical practitioner is a doctor, and health care practitioners are other practitioners, such as a physios, chiropractor, optometrist, etc., that are covered under this act.
Section 6 establishes that a resident of the province is to be enrolled as a beneficiary under the plan upon application to the commission.

Title 7 - §1007-A. Improperly maintaining potato cull piles; public nuisance
The Legislature finds it necessary to exercise the police power of the State to require proper disposal of cull potatoes and potato cull piles and to provide procedures for the disposal of these potatoes by the department when the owner fails to comply with the requirements of this section.
The owner or lessee of any real property on which potatoes are grown, or on which potato cull piles are maintained or disposed of, shall properly dispose of potato culls and cull piles in order to destroy the A2 strain of potato blight and other potato diseases.
The Potato Cull Removal Fund is established to be used by the department to administer and enforce the provisions of this section and to pay any expenses of potato cull removal and disposal.

Withdraw this section of the bill, complete the consultation with the municipalities, explore the limiting factors to the competition that these railroads face, and then bring a solution to this House that has the support and is in the best interests of all British Columbians.
Cull: The member may be correct that the trackage of rail in incorporated municipalities is not that great, but the value that is being assessed in the switching yards -- in North Vancouver, for example, or in Golden or Port Coquitlam -- is where the real value and the real tax are.
Cull: Without prejudicing the debate we're going to have when we get to the next section of the bill, there is no reason why B.C. Rail and the other rail companies couldn't be assessed on the same basis using a formula and moving to the types of rates we're going to be using.

Chapter 5. Frame and Load Control   (Site not responding. Last check: )
During the culling phase of frame processing, the distance from the eyepoint to the object is computed and used (with other factors) to select which LOD model to display.
When the cull and draw stages are in separate processes, they communicate through a pfDispList; the cull process generates the display list, and the draw process traverses and renders it.
In this section, the phrase “the draw process” refers to whichever process is handling the draw stage, regardless of whether that process is also handling other stages.

 OGRE Manual v1.4.4 ('Eihort'): Passes
In this case the culling is based on whether the 'back' or 'front' of the traingle is facing the camera - this definition is based on the face normal (a vector which sticks out of the front side of the polygon perpendicular to the face).
When you are using the programmable pipeline (See section 3.1.9 Using Vertex and Fragment Programs in a Pass) this limit is dependent on the program you are running, or, if you use 'iteration once_per_light' or a variant (See section iteration), it effectively only bounded by the number of passes you are willing to use.
This option is especially useful when you're using point sprites (See section point_sprites) since it defines how they reduce in size as they get further away from the camera.

 World Wide Words: Cull
cull was a good strong, agricultural-sounding word that had the happy additional advantage of avoiding using emotive words like kill or slaughter.
The idea here is that a proportion of animals are killed, often the old and infirm ones, so leaving the remaining population on average fitter and of higher quality, better able to survive on the food available in the wild.
The word has, though, taken on a strongly pejorative sense with phrases like seal cull and badger cull, in which many people consider the intentions of the slaughterers to be suspect and any killing to be wrong.

In midfield Cull was positioned to protect the back three and wingers Scott and McNamara - both with explosive pace had instructions to play as wingbacks and also both have the pace to get forward with speed.
From an early corner out on the right, Susan Cull sitting in the pocket, returned a clearance with a speculative high lobbed effort though the goalkeeper came early, the high bounce of the ball deceiving her and Cull effort left her stranded but the ball ended up on the roof of the net.

 Late Blight
Potatoes may be exposed to late blight during the growing season from inoculum produced on infected cull piles, volunteer potato plants, or the disease may originate from infected seed.
The initial sources of late blight inoculum are likely to be infected plants in cull piles, volunteer potato plants infected the previous year and which have survived the winter, and infected seed tubers.
Potato pieces resulting from seed cutting operations or cull potatoes left after loading or unloading at storage facilities may support the production of late blight spores whether or not the pieces are sprouting, and should be disposed of properly.

Cull a Section from an INI File   (Site not responding. Last check: )
Although the CULL filter seems like the obvious solution to the problem, there is no "ending string" that you can specify to the CULL filter that represents the last line you wish to remove, (the blank line) so another approach is called for.
The following first appends a blank line to the end of the INI file to guarantee that a blank line follows the TCPIP section regardless of where it exists in the INI file.
At that point then you can simply call the CULL filter to remove the TCPIP section from the INI.

 Stop Four - Cull Canyon
The Contra Costa strata exposed in Cull Canyon are probably between ~8 and ~6 Ma in age, somewhat younger than the outcrops of basal Orinda we examined in the Berkeley hills (see Graham and others, 1984; Buising and Walker, 1995).
Clast composition in both sand and coarse-clast fractions suggests that the Contra Costa Group in the Cull Canyon area comprises sediment derived from both western (Franciscan/Coast Range) and eastern (Sierran/Sierran foothills) sources, rather than being exclusively Coast Range-derived as previous workers have suggested.
Buising (1995) interpreted arc sands of the Contra Costa Group as recording periods when the bulk of the sediment reaching the Contra Costa depocenter was derived from the Sierra: the westward-flowing drainage which characterized much of San Pablo time must have continued to be important during deposition of the Contra Costa Group.
