It’s one thing that the small town atmosphere that used to be the town of Culpeper has been taken over by the housing boom and people from Northern Virginia moving her, it’s another subject altogether with all of the illegal immigrants.
Bernal was described as a Culpeper resident who, “[E]ntered the U.S. in 1986 as a migrant worker and became a legal immigrant three years later.” This suggests that he himself may have been an illegal alien for three years.
The worst thing that can happen is that the citizens of Culpeper allow our elected officials to bury their heads in the sands of apathy on this issue, because we can assure you that those supporting illegals will not.
