George W. Bush and the Personality Cult - Associated Content
I found this page not researching Bush, but looking for the lyrics to a song, "Cult of Personality" by Living Color.
Perhaps the answer lies in the theory of the personality cult.
Personality cults sometimes form in power-hungry regimes, such as Stalinist Russia or Mao's China.

Ko became the object of a personality cult after the death -- believed to have been in 2002 -- of Song Hye Rim, the mother of Kim Jong Il's eldest son Kim Jong Nam.
One example of this cult appeared in material published by the (North) Korean People's Army Publications Office, which referred to Ko as "respected mother who assists our dear Supreme Commander (Kim Jong Il) in the closest position and loyally serves him."
Third is the resumption of activities by the Three Great Revolution Teams, which had been terminated at the end of 1995.

However, most of these short songs have a passing connection, at best, to their namesakes.
I anticipated little songs, personalized with care and wit for the particular territory in question...tiny, cult state anthems.
Still, there's a groovy groove here and there ("Idaho"), and he does occasionally imbue a song (and the state) with some memorable personality ("Oregon," which is more sinister than anyone imagined).

The A to Z of Madonna: Biography
In fact Madonna was an inspired choice as the cult of Peron was all about personality and beauty, and Madonna has both in spades, as well as a voice capable of carrying the at times complex and sometimes dated musical narrative.
The problems with Napster where "stolen" versions of some songs from Music have been available for download from fans who at best don't realise they are killing music, had prompted Madonna to release early.
Madonna has said that the death of her mother was one of the defining days of her life: since then she's had an unfulfilled need and has been on a mad search for love.

Christafari - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Christafari's claim to be counter cult implies that Rastafari is a cult, their call to a wayward generation implies that the Rastas are wayward or a lost generation while their claim to evangelize the word of God to Rastas implies that Rastas don't have the word of God.
Christafari is a Christian Reggae band formed in 1990 that is centered around the personality of ordained minister Mark "Tansoback" Mohr (born October 23, 1971), an American born-again Christian who professes that he was once a Rastafarian.
One example is the song "Why You A-go Look?" on the album Word, Sound, and Power, a song directly challenging the Rasta veneration of Haile Selassie I of Ethiopia as Almighty God incarnate.

For this album, Bartos deconstructs the nature of fame and the media as a statement on the cult of personality and celebrity in an elegant and simple style.
But Karl Bartos was as much a member of Kraftwerk as they were: co-writer of every song on 1981’s classic “Computer World”, vocalist, and programmer / producer, he was an integral part of Kraftwerk as anyone else.
Thankfully only one song on this album (the dreadful “Life”), appears to date from his rock-fetish days, and has been substantially reworked into the electronic arena, but is still a piece of unessential filler that demands you test the FFWD button.

Bar/None Records: Juliana Hatfield / Do Not Disturb
Since 1992 when she stepped out from the ground-breaking Blake Babies, a Boston band she founded with other students from the Berklee School of Music, Juliana Hatfield has plowed her own path through musical trends, through the folly of fashion and around the cult of personality which surrounds other seminal songwriters of her generation.
This time producing herself, she's adapted an eclectic approach to song writing and a more casual style of recording, ducking into the studio when she can and recording just a few songs at a time to keep abreast of her prolific output.
The inflammatory and affectionate "My Sister" from that album with its controversial lyrics ("she's such a bitch") set a tone for a generation of female singer songwriters and opened the airwaves to a new frankness among women.

They started writing songs that didn't sound like anyone else, songs that were melodic but had the power and heaviness to distinguish them from other melodic bands.

The album, unfortunately, ends on a sour note with "little america", which has a pretty good riff but the rest of the song just sounds half-baked and the chorus is a wretched, unmelodic mess.
No wonder why this album received instant cult recognition in America, as it demonstrated that rock and pop's influences for a promising debut album can be sufficiently simple enough for mass appeal whilst being as hermetic as a strong personality.
The album shows full use of their talents, going from acoustic instruments, to rock guitars, to strings, not to mention Michael's voice at his best, and then there are the lyrics.
