		Culver City was founded by Harry Culver in 1913 and the city was incorporated in 1917.
		The city is surrounded by the Los Angeles neighborhoods of Mar Vista, West Los Angeles, Palms and Beverlywood on the north, Westchester on the south and southwest Los Angeles on the east, with the neighborhoods of Venice and Marina Del Rey to the west.
		In the city the population is spread out with 20.9% under the age of 18, 6.6% from 18 to 24, 33.3% from 25 to 44, 25.3% from 45 to 64, and 13.9% who are 65 years of age or older.
