Duck Hunting at Cumberland Marsh in Saskatchewan Canada
Mistik Lodge itself is located on the banks of the North Saskatchewan River in the heart of the Cumberland House Delta and is on the edge of a marsh that extends to an area almost 100 miles by 30 miles.
Flying those aircraft, it was only another 90 minutes before we had landed at the gravel airstrip at Cumberland House and transferred to fast boats for the last leg of the journey to Mistik Lodge.
In 1999 we departed from the usual exchange arrangement and accepted an invitation from Bob Stuck and Tim Brown to join them on a trip to Mistik Lodge on the Cumberland Marsh in northern Saskatchewan.

 Richard Cumberland
Cumberland was born in the Master's Lodge, at Trinity, Cambridge, in the Judge's Chamber—a room hung round with portraits of ' hanging judges' in their 0fficial robes, and where a great Anglican divine and preacher once told me he had passed a sleepless night, so scared was he by these sinful emblems 0f human justice.
Some years later, and after Cumberland was dead, Sir Walter wrote a sketch of his life in the vein we are better accustomed to associate with the name of Scott.
Unluckily, Cumberland was sent to Spain on a mission, and came home with a grievance.
