		Apart from the usual cattle, sheep and goat classes there is a poultry tent, showjumping, a gymkhana, a sheepdog demonstration and sheep shearing.
		Traditional attractions such as sheepdog trials, a fun dog show, children’s pet show, children’s sports, flowers, vegetables and produce stalls, a children's craft competition and dog agility will be held.
		Organisers are also hoping to have a Cumberland and Westmorland wrestling demonstration, heavy horses and a brass band.

		Organisers of the Cumberland County Show decided early this year to go ahead with their annual event in Carlisle - without cattle and sheep.
		Even in February, the uncertainty of whether foot and mouth disease might re-emerge and the difficulties imposed by the regulations in its wake were the deciding factors for the show's council.
		The Cumberland Show, like all the other agricultural shows in the region, still cost money last year despite the cancellations.
