Cwmbran, an area of just over 3000 acres of the Wales’ Eastern Valley, was designated as a New Town under the New Towns Act 1946 and it is the fist and only New Town of any size to have been designated in Wales.
Cwmbran’s original population was 12,000 most who lived in Pontnewydd and Cwmbran and it was the first New Town to be planned from the start for a specific target population, an original maximum of 35,000.

I guess we don't know how well off we are for those until we go somewhere else, but it is pretty much possible to walk from one end of the town to the other through the parks, off the roads, and by the river.
