  Care of Cyclura
Although cyclura tend to be less sensitive to diets with some animal protein than green iguanas are, I do not feel it is necessary to feed animal protein of any kind to cyclura, and too much can certainly lead to similar detrimental health effects that green iguanas often suffer.
While they do like to climb, cyclura iguanas (also known as ground or rock iguanas) also feel comfortable on the ground and are often seen sunning on rocks of limestone or on hot paved roads in the wild.
Cyclura in the wild like to sleep in burrows in the ground at night, rather than retreat to trees, so a hide box made out of a large cardboard box or a dog house may be appreciated.
