I was actually a little disapointed that Cyric didn't really change the abilities of his priesthood much between the FR Hardcover and F&A, especially since his portfolio and personality went through such dramatic changes, so here is my slightly altered take.
Crusaders are known as the ebon knights of Cyric; anti-paladins as the ebon swords of Cyric.
The crusaders and anti-paladins of Cyric often where armor similar to the strifeleaders (see above) and while they have access to any weapon, usually prefer the same weapons as the strifeleaders, in particular the long sword.

Cyric holds several other portfolios, including Murder, Lies and Intrigue which are not subordinate to anyone.
Nothing forces Cyric to be subservient in any way to Azuth, and be no more dependent on Mystra than any other deity is in regards to magic; after all, there's no deity whose magic she can't override/cut off.

 Product Review - Crucible : The Trial of Cyric the Mad
The truth that many people never understand, until it is too late, is that the more you try to avoid suffering the more you suffer because smaller and more insignificant things begin to torture you in proportion to your fear of being hurt.
The interesting thing about this book is that it was told completely from the perspective of one of Cyric's loyal followers, and primarily details his quest to cure his God's ailments.
All in all, these are some pretty good books and if you are looking for some fantasy brain fluff they're worth the read.
