D Magazine is the 30+ year-old, monthly, city magazine of Dallas.
The D magazine seems to be written by talent less, spoiled and self centered teenage girls who love to write about who is who in Dallas, and at the same time carry out personal vendettas using their magazine.
The pages of D Magazine are seething with hatred for the mayor but if you read it you will still not have a clue what their problem with her is. Add fake sarcasm and dishonesty to the brew.

D Magazine - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
D Magazine is a monthly magazine covering the city of Dallas, Texas.
The magazine received an early boost from Neiman Marcus founder Stanley Marcus, who sent a letter to 200,000 Neiman Marcus cardholders in the Dallas area urging them to subscribe to the new magazine.
In 1990, American Express purchased the magazine, but by 1996, a group of investors led by original founder Wick Allison repurchased the magazine.

D Magazine   (Site not responding. Last check: 2007-10-16)
D Magazine was founded in 1974 by two University of Texas graduates, Wick Allison and Jim Atkinson.
In October of 1974, the new magazine debuted with the then-shocking cover story on "Power in Dallas: Who Holds the Cards," an analysis of the fabled Dallas establishment and the interlocking corporate directorships by which they managed the city's business.
But readers continued to support D even when advertisers didn't, and by 1977 when it launched its annual "Best and Worst" awards, D Magazine was an unqualified financial and editorial success.

Yes, a magazine loaded to maximum capacity will generally lock in the mag well when the bolt is locked open, but many standard issue carbines commonly have difficulty stripping off the first couple rounds due to cartridge stack tension.
When magazines with extra power magazine springs are loaded to maximum capacity, they will not allow cartridge stack compression upon loading, and they will hold the cartridge stack so tightly that standard buffer spring pressure may not strip off the first rounds when you release the bolt after a reload.

Current art director Nico Schweizer has reorganised the sections of the magazines to what seems to follow the logic of a folder tree.
Each page is clearly titled, the tree even goes down to the sub-folder level in some sections, and flipping through the magazine it seems easier than ever before to quickly identify which pages are adverts and which ones are actual content thanks to the big /(insert Department name here) tags at their tops.
One would have expected Wired Magazine to follow that path if any, but I.D. Magazine's choice is elegant, refreshing (who thought that FTP folder trees could be refreshing) and very usable.
