		DPG Record,z his independent imprint, was in full effect and people were starting to take notice.
		Independently Daz and DPG Recordz to date have dropped 6 lps (newest included), 1 ep, and 2 compalations (as Daz spells it).
		It features his DPG counterparts Snoop Dogg, Soopafly, Goldie Loc, Bad Azz and has received nothing but great reviews from the underground and mainstream alike.

		As a fan of Soopafly's guest work on compilations and other DPG member's albums, "Whoopty Woop" didn't quite live up to my expectations but I would still recommend it to anyone looking for a hot Dogg Pound record.
		If DPG Recordz had done a little bit better job on the sound quality as well as the overall organizing of the album, this could have been a classic.
		i thought that this was a bit of a let down, soopafly has been really good when featured on other DPG albums and snoops album etc, but he was not upto his usual greatness on this one, its worth a listen, but really not top quality.

		4/23/2002 12:00:00 AM DPG Recordz has announced that they will not be releasing the Outlawz album that they were planing.
		The album was to feature tracks done by the Outlawz which were produced by Daz in the past.
		Instead, Daz has decided to sell the tracks back to the Outlawz, no word if they have agreed yet or not.

		Their actual follow-up, "Dillinger & Young Gotti", avaliable on DPG Recordz, is much more polished and features a few of the same tracks such as "We Livin' Gangsta Life" and "Crip Wit Us".
		This album not only jacks tracks already released on Daz's albums but also borrows the recent DJ Clue remix of "Change The Game" with Jay-Z. If that's not enough their lead-off single, "Just Doggin" is actually a five-year-old song that was already released in 1996 on the "Sunset Park" soundtrack.
		On par with D.P.G at least if not Dogg Food (high hopes!) I gave it a chance and found it wuz the bomb, some older tracks really pump the G-Funk like 'Smoke' w/Snoop Dogg in hiz PRIME and 'Way Too Often'.

		If you want an album strictly to mash, the sound of "This is the Life I Lead" will floss in your Benz or ya Hummer this summer, but don't expect Shakespeare.
