  dc Talk's Intermission
The 17 songs were chosen by fans and the members of dc Talk, and although you'd expect a few mediocre songs with that many choices, the album is free of so-so songs.
Most dc Talk fans already own their albums so two new songs and a slew of past hits is a bit lame.
If you're already a dc Talk fan you probably have most of these songs, but there might be enough extra goodies to entice you to buy it.

dc Talk added some lyrics and a huge rock factor to this tune about the everyday struggle to die to self and follow Christ, and it fits all too well after the humbling effect of “Stumble”.
It’s still one my favorite dc Talk tracks to this day, and it almost provided a sneak peak of the less extreme, more wondrous aura of their upcoming Supernatural album, one which I’ve gone out on a limb for in stating that I like it even more than Jesus Freak.
No one knows exactly where dc Talk will go next, as was proved by the challenging but satisfying follow-up, Supernatural, and I couldn’t even hazard much of a guess as to what they’ll do next after the group members are done exploring their solo talents here in the year 2001.

Dc talk will always be more popular then any of them could get by themselves.
One more thing, dc talk's original reason for stopping was that they needed a break.  Well  starting solo groups was just going to be more work.  So i don't know about that reason.
I mean I love dc Talk but they kinda turned away from their hip hop/ rock thing, and that is what I loved about them! Like in the middle of any kind of song there would be a line of rap, I loved it! But by Supernatural they didn't do it anymore.

That's doubtful, but after they've just released a greatest hits album and a teaser for their upcoming solo projects, I don't think we'll see a bona fide dc Talk album for quite a while.
That's not to say I don't enjoy the rest of the music, but after hearing how great dc Talk can be over the past few years, it becomes readily apparent why they need each other when they go it alone.
In a way, it's also comforting to see that none of the three is able to be dc Talk without the other two.

What truly makes dc Talk stand out among several groups that turn out hit singles one after another is that the album flows so well.
It seems to follow an overly simple theme of loving and respecting one another, which I first thought was a little too cheesy for dc Talk, but let's just say that this song grows on you a lot.
It is wonderfully descriptive of the thinly veiled supernatural world that permeates the reality we live in, and it has that trademark dc Talk chorus that smacks you over the head.
