	RE: IWC 3527 Deep One - experience with this watch?
		Only someone with an appreciation for "things mechanical" could truly appreciate the mechanical marvel the Deep One is. While I am sure his intentions are good, a quartz/battery watch is not in the same league as a good mechanical piece.
		While I rely on my depth gauge (mechanical) when I dive for depth indications and use my Aquatimer or Seamaster for timing requirements, the Deep One is a purpose built dive watch, and to merely use it as a "show piece" would be an injustice.
		I also would like to comment on quartz/battery watches, as some people think that they are "bullet proof." Years back when I was in the military on deployment my quartz watch decided to die (battery) before I could get a new battery.
