ED84044: In the Matter of L.D.W., a minor.   (Site not responding. Last check: 2007-10-07)
DFS claims that the trial court erred in ordering it to pay fees to the GAL because such an award is contrary to law, and was in excess of the trial court's jurisdiction.
DFS claims that pursuant to the language contained in section 210.160.4, there is no statutory authority to award fees against DFS because it was not a party found to have abused or neglected L.D.W. Thus, we are called to interpret the language contained in section 210.160.
DFS argues that in Williams, the court did not address the "limiting language" contained in the statute regarding a finding of abuse or neglect as a prerequisite for fees to be taxed against a party, and therefore, the case does not apply to the present appeal.

The DFS 194 was a rocket-powered aircraft designed by Alexander Lippisch at the Deutsche Forschungsanstalt für Segelflug (DFS - German Institute for Sailplane Flight) based on his Delta series of tail-less designs.
As originally conceived, it would have been a tail-less aircraft similar to his DFS 40, powered by a conventional piston engine driving a pusher propeller.

DFS further requested, and Father agreed, to provide funds directly to foster mother so that Child could begin dance and swim lessons and also to provide funds for additional expenses not covered by Medicaid, however Father failed to provide any such funds to Child's foster mother.

However, DFS concluded that an estimate of the exact potential client population could not be determined because there was no way to ascertain how many public assistance recipients might test positive for a controlled substance or how many might lose an administrative hearing.
According to DFS, the annual grant amount for AFDC was $690; $960 for GR; and $0 for MA.
Using the base numbers provided by DFS, it was assumed that the percentage of public assistance recipients convicted of a drug-related offense would be the same as that of the entire state population.

At the DFS, Lippisch rebuilt the aircraft, removing the canards and the rear engine and renaming it the Delta IVa.
In 1936, the aircraft was taken to the Luftwaffe flight-testing centre at Rechlin where test pilot Heini Dittmar put it through its paces, gaining an airworthiness certificate for the type and an official RLM designation - DFS 39.

Works started under the aegis of the DFS (Deutsche Forschungsanstalt für Segelflug—the German institute for sailplane flight).
When work had progressed to the point that it was likely to reach production, the effort was moved to Messerschmitt and became the Me 163.
Secrecy was such that the number, 163, was actually that of an earlier project to produce a small two-passenger light plane, as it was thought that intelligence services would conclude any reference to the number would be for that earlier design.

In 1933, RGG had been reorganised into the Deutsche Forschungsanstalt für Segelflug (DFS - German Institute for Sailplane Flight) and the Delta IV and Delta V were designated as the DFS 39 and DFS 40 respectively.
In early 1939, the Reichsluftfahrtsministerium (RLM) — (Reich Aviation Ministry) transferred Lippisch and his team to work at the Messerschmitt factory to design a high-speed fighter aircraft around the rocket engines then under development by Hellmuth Walter.
They quickly adapted their then-current design, the DFS 194 to rocket power, successfully flying in early 1940.

The overall survival, DFS, and relapse risk were not statistically significant different among these three groups of patients (Table 2).
Age less than 40 years at the time of transplant was associated with a significantly better prognosis, with a DFS of 39%, mainly due to a lower relapse risk in the younger age group.
The lower relapse risk in the younger age group may be due to several factors, such as the duration of disease before treatment and the absence of cytogenetic abnormalities, which are associated with a poor outcome.
