DJ Keoki - Pandora Internet Radio
After releasing several mixtapes during the early '90s, Keoki gained a licensing deal through Moonshine Music and debuted with a volume in the label's Journeys by DJ series in 1994.
Though he released his fourth mix LP in 1996 as well, Keoki had already decided to pursue a different path, with the release of his first own-production single, "Caterpillar." The single crested at number three on the dance charts and earned him a spot on that summer's Lollapalooza circuit.
Always one to stay at least a step ahead of expectations, Keoki returned in 1998 with another mix LP plus an album of Ego-Trip remixes (from the Crystal Method, Rabbit in the Moon, Omar Santana and Cirrus, among others).

DJ Keoki: Keokiclash - PopMatters Music Review
I haven't really ever liked Keoki's original stuff all that much in the past, but this mix CD is good.
Keoki, who has been around the dance scene forever, knows how to spin tracks into each other, and does so without fancy tricks.
Keoki sympathizes with this character, and it's clear that he just wants to destroy the entire world of dance music and culture, especially when most of the rest of the disc is given over to tracks that either dream of fame and money and fashion, or skewer that idea through sarcasm.

Phoenix - Music - Superstar DJ Keoki
A few years ago, Keoki Franconi took a look around his Manhattan dominion and said, "I'm a superstar DJ," saw that it was good, and that was that.
Keoki, in fact, enlisted his former roommate, Love and Rockets' Daniel Ash, to bring a rock/pop edge to Jealousy's title track, and the result is a throttling techno jam that rides the fence between being a club-only track and a radio crossover.
Whatever your feelings about such brash musical miscegenation, Keoki really is a superstar on the decks, usually spinning the latest cuts from trance and techno clubs around the globe, maintaining a sharp focus on the audience.

In April of 2001, DJ Keoki released his second album, the longish Jealousy.
And it's interesting to see the two different approaches to the original's title song: Nynex is a little more reverent and plays it straight by just adding some dark-core chords here and there, while the "Elite Force Remix" makes it sound a lot more like Gary Numan in a tryst with Fatboy Slim.
I would be very surprised if this ever turned up on anyone's Desert Island Disc list, but I don't think that's the point; this is mostly for people who liked the original album enough to want to hear most of its songs recast by people with really cool computer programs.
