j-models Revisiones / Reviews: Fujimi 1/700 DKM BB Admiral Scheer
Using the same tooling of the Graf Spee, Fujimi released the complete series of the German pocket battleships in the late 1990s: Admiral Graf Spee, Deutschland and Admiral Scheer.

The Admiral Scheer was a Deutschland class heavy cruiser (often termed a pocket battleship) which served with the Kriegsmarine of Nazi Germany during World War II.
Admiral Scheer was modified throughout the early months of the war and went to sea on 14 October 1940.
Following Hitler's anger at the alleged failings of the Kriegsmarine, Admiral Raeder was replaced by Admiral Doenitz and the German surface fleet rarely left port.

Admiral Ilonoff had been a young seaman in the Russian Navy at Tsushima on his first cruise; He had become an officer in the Soviet Navy after participating in the Revolution for the Communists.
The last known reports suggested that the German Tirpitz and Admiral Scheer, along with the Admiral Hipper and an unknown number of destroyers were in Norway, to form the backbone of a new High Seas Fleet, the ships for which were being built even now, but not yet having entered service.
Admiral Marschall, his chief of staff, his intelligence office, and the Captain of the Schlesien stood in the chartroom of the Schlesien, along with a few aides.

Admiral of the Fleet, Sir Arthur Wilson, was inclined to support him.

Even so, the Deutschland was 600 tons overweight, although for political reasons its announced displacement was always given as the 10,000 tons of the treaty limit.
Two other very similar (but not identical) ships were built in its class, the Admiral Graf Spee and the Admiral Scheer.
The class was termed Panzerschiff ("armoured ship"); they were designated "pocket battleships" by the British because of their characteristics: their guns (6 x 28 cm in two turrets) were substantially bigger than those of the heavy cruisers of her time, but they were faster (and much less armoured) than the standard battleships.
