In Driv3r you play as Tanner, a FBI agent attached to the Miami PD who goes undercover to bust a group of international car thieves who are intent on making off with a bevy of expensive and rare automobiles.
Jumping in Driv3r feels very loose, which would be a small pittance had their not been a part of the game where your jumping skills are put to the test as you have to jump from deck to wobbly box to deck as a squad of thugs are shooting at you.
Driv3r is an overall bearable game to play through, but throughout the entire experience you find yourself noticing the glaring flaws and thinking of games that did a particular aspect better almost as much as you do playing the game.

Driv3r just does not look or feel complete; and there are almost too many bugs, and video problems to mention.
The main problem with the replay system in Driv3r is that they are far too short, Driv3r does not take full advantage of the Xbox's hard drive, so even replays of missions that you have completed stop half way through.

In the end I came away with an impression that varies severely from the majority of the gaming press; Atari’s DRIV3R is an entertaining action/adventure title that while flawed, has enough going for it to warrant at least a rental.
DRIV3R has plenty of sequences like these most of them revolving around high-speed chases or escapes.
Technically they’re pretty short in length but those three minutes become a real pain in the ass when you have to restart every single time you hit a vehicle, a lamp post or a wall.

Often, winning some part is a matter of finding out how to trick the A.I., whether it be by moving to where the A.I. can't see you, but you can actually get a target lock on them, or positioning yourself where the A.I. can't get to you by running straight.
DRIV3R is, unfortunately, one of those game whose difficulty is most greatly introduced by its flaws.
There is a physics engine that handles interaction in the game, but the bounding and collision detection is so faulty as to render the physics engine more of an amusement than something that would reinforce the realism of the game.

On its own, DRIV3R is an under-par game, delivering a healthy mix of in-car and out-of-car missions, a lively list of autos, and a well-presented but uninteresting story.

There are mini games to play but these don't compare with the multiplayer mode in the old games which has not been included in driv3r.
The trend with driv3r seems to be the fact that everything is not fully developed.
Cars handle ruffly, Tanner moves funny, missions could be more interesting etc. Alot more was to be expected from Driv3r but it seems to be out shined in every aspect by GTA 3.
