		Again, as far as I've been able to determine, the only use of layered graphics in DVDA is for masks, where they use the alpha (transparency channel) of the graphics file.
		Otherwise I think DVDA just converts any graphics to a simpler format -- don't have to use png, but Sony apps like Vegas seem to like it, it has a small file size, and the extra data in photoshop files seems to just be discarded anyway.
		I also heard rumours DVDA should have problems with imported ac3 tracks which is the only audio format I use for all my DVDs.

		DVDA will not render your avi for you as I understand it.
		DVDA can handle any AVI files as long as the codec is installed on your system.
		Hopefully the next version of DVDA will allow you to keep the temp files created so making changes will be faster.

		I have found it to be easier to import a single file for DVDA as opposed to a lot of little onces and then linking them all together in a playlist.
		DVDA can automatically create all necessary chapter menus based just on the chapter marks.

		One of them worked for a few DVDs and then stopped; others won’t give me burn speed options, another goes as far as the burning stage then gives me write errors, etc. My friend in town gets it to work fine, but I can’t seem to find the magic drive.
		The drive is set to slave --a removable drive is on the master.
