		DVK is the 10th political party to be registered ahead of the country's October parliamentary elections, but only one of a few representing the political opposition.
		But pro-government media soon began to question whether the signatures were legitimate, suggesting the DVK had used the names of minors and the deceased in order to boost its membership.
		Unlike the Communists, however, the DVK -- whose founding leadership included a number of entrepreneurs -- is adopting a socially liberal, pro-business stance.

		DVK ( Russian : Ð”Ð’Ð which stands for Dialogue Computer Complex) is a Russian clone of PDP personal computer (see also SM EVM).
		Earlier models of DVK series were based on K1801BM1 or K1801BM2 microprocessors with 16 bit address bus.
		In older models KM1801BM3 microprocessor was used with 22 bit extended address bus.

		As evidence of the DVK’s alleged violation of the law the prosecution cited a statement issued by the DVK at its second party congress on December 11, 2004.
		Judge Gulnar Meyrzhanova’s verdict reportedly stated that the DVK’s December 11 statement “induces citizens toacts of disobedience” and “kindles social [discord].” In the end, on the sole basis of the DVK statement, the judge granted the prosecutor’s request to liquidate the party.
		While ultimately DVK was granted registration, the integrity of the election itself was compromised by the government’s failure to establish a level playing field, for which it was sharply criticized by the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe.

		Lawyers for the embattled Democratic Choice of Kazakhstan (DVK), the country's main opposition party, failed yesterday to persuade an appellate court to overturn a ban imposed on the party earlier this month.
		Officially, the DVK was banned for calling for street protests following September's parliamentary elections, which many in the opposition continue to claim were rigged to favor pro-government candidates.
		DVK founders Ghalymzhan Zhaqiyanov and Mukhtar Abliyazov, both former high-ranking officials who turned against the government, were jailed months after the DVK was created.

		A financial audit of Sabitova’s department at the university was conducted at the same time as the procuracy’s investigation and provided a pretext for her removal from the university.

	Heathkit HD15 - DVK Interface
		I connected to the 8-ohm speaker output of my sound card since the level of the line output was not high enough to drive the DVK interface.
		A small control relay is wired in place of S1-2 and switches the audio between the station mic and the DVK audio.

	Kazakhstan Embattled Kazakh Opposition Party Rejects 'Extremist' Charge
		Opposition party Democratic Choice of Kazakhstan (DVK), which an Almaty court ordered liquidated on 6 January, announced in a statement at a 10 January news conference in Almaty that "attempts to present DVK as an extremist organization that allegedly violates the constitution and laws of Kazakhstan are without merit," "Navigator" reported.
		DVK also received support from a seemingly unlikely source, when Kazbek Kazkenov, deputy chairman of the pro-presidential Otan party, told reporters in Almaty on 10 January, "I express sympathy with DVK," "Kazakhstan Today" reported.
		Kazkenov noted the possibility of appeal through the courts, as well as an appeal to President Nursultan Nazarbaev, whom Kazkenov described as "the guarantor of the constitution." DVK has already stated its intention to appeal the court decision.
