The dabar was usually an encounter with the Spiritual realm wherein, the one to whom it came, received it in the form of a dream or vision.
The importance of understanding the dabar as encounter with the Spiritual realm is to be underscored.
It is through encounter with the dabar, the word of the Lord, that God speaks to man, and that we are empowered by the Spirit to become God's victorious people on the earth and to walk in deliverance from our spiritual oppressor, sin.

So shall my dabar be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

The dabar Jehovah, the word of the LORD, was absolutely consistent and would absolutely come to pass.
However, it is important to note that the word (debar) of the LORD that shall never pass away is preached by way of the gospel.
Hence, the elements of promise and ultimate authority emphasized by the Old Testament phrase dabar Jehovah are contained within the meaning of the logos of the gospel.

Dabar highlighted the importance for the Djiboutian chamber to benefit from the DCCI's pioneering experience to help upgrading the work system at the Djibouti Chamber of Commerce through setting a bilateral cooperation agreement between the two chambers of commerce.
He added that such an agreement would help enhance the promotion of business activities in Djibouti, in addition to supporting the investment environment and effectively participating in economic conferences and exhibitions.

The Two Babylons: Lamps and Wax-Candles
The bee between the lips of the sun-god was intended to point him out as "the Word"; for Dabar, the expression which signifies in Chaldee a "Bee," signifies also a "Word"; and the position of that bee in the mouth leaves no doubt as to the idea intended to be conveyed.
In the first verse of that chapter it is said, "The WORD of the Lord was precious in those days; there was no open vision," that is, in consequence of the sin of Eli, the Lord had not, for a long time, revealed Himself in vision to him, as He did to the prophets.
Thus we find Muller referring to the symbols connected with the worship of the Ephesian Diana: "Her constant symbol is the bee, which is not otherwise attributed to Diana...The chief priest himself was called Essen, or the king-bee." The character of the chief priest shows the character of the god he represented.

Of course, there is no disputing the fact that the term logos was widely used in the Greco-Roman culture (and also in Judaism), but it is not until the writings of Philo does the logos eventually become personified beyond personification and regarded as a, personal literal entity.
In the LXX, the term logos (Hebrew: dabar) was used frequently to describe God's utterances, and the messages of prophets - by means of which God communicated His will to His people.
Indeed, it is possible to contrast his understanding of the logos against the Hebrew dabar, which (to a large extent) it was actually intended to identify, personify, and explain.

The dabar of verse 23 came in response to the prayer of Daniel.
The two principles of prayer highlighted in chapters 9 and 10 of Daniel allow us to date the commandment foreseen in Daniel 9:25—the commandment that in Daniel's day was still far off in the future.
The first principle implies that just as the dabar of verse 23 was given in answer to Daniel’s prayer, so the dabar of verse 25—the divine commandment to rebuild Jerusalem—would be given in answer to prayer.

The NASB also translates dabar as "decree," while the KJV and ASV give it as "commandment," and the NKJV translates it as "command." However, by far the most common translation of the Hebrew word dabar is simply as "word." Daniel’s prophecy would begin when the "word" to rebuild Jerusalem was given.
The dabar to rebuild the city was simply the verbal permission given to Nehemiah by Artaxerxes.
It was the verbal permission that Nehemiah received that constituted the dabar to rebuild the holy city of Jerusalem, as predicted in Daniel 7:25.

This phrase, dabar Jehovah, is often translated: "as the Lord has said." This could also be translated:  "according to the word of the LORD." Dabar Jehovah is translated in a number of ways depending on the context.
It is commonly used of commands that have a permanent application, whether received directly from God by the spirit of whether it is received from one of God's ministers.
