The train dacoity in Bihar, in which a Delhi police officer was killed, snowballed into a major verbal battle between the treasury and opposition benches in the Lok Sabha during the zero hour on March 5, ultimately dragging the deputy speaker into the tangle.

July 16: A warder posted at the high-security Tihar jail was dismissed from service for allegedly attempting dacoity along with his associate in Saket area last month.
The warder was arrested on June 19 on the charge of attempted dacoity.

In a third train dacoity in a week in Bihar, armed criminals shot dead a passenger and injured 10 others for putting up resistance as the gang looted cash and valuables worth over Rs 3 lakh in 10 down Dehradun Express in Gaya district, Railway officials said on Thursday.
Gaya Station Master D N Bhagat said that about five robbers boarded the Howrah-bound train at Anugraha Road Station (Aurangabad) on the Gaya-Mughalsarai section of the East Central Railway on Wednesday night and went on a looting spree in the running train.
Earlier on May 27 a BSF Inspector was shot dead by armed dacoits, who also looted cash and valuables worth over Rs two lakh from passengers travelling by a sleeper coach of the 3483 Up Farakka Express from Farakka to Delhi at Raghunathpur station under Danapur Division of the East Central Railway.
