		Dada said over the weekend he had been inspired by the transformation that came over the city after 600,000 cubic meters of waste from 255 garbage transfer sites was transported to other regions.
		The idea of building a power plant powered by methane, a gas that is produced when waste decays, Dada said, had been presented to National Development Planning Board officials on June 27 in Jakarta.

		Fans of the President will recall the tough talk on Saturday when, disgusted by the stench and piling mounds of rubbish lining the route of his cereminial exercise, he issued the ultimatum to the governor to clean up his act by Tuesday, yesterday.
		The Minister was appropriately disgusted and would have given Dada some blah blah, except that the governor was't in his office when the minister visited.

		On December 2, Bandung Mayor Dada Rosada set the city's minimum wage at Rp 565,000 after considering the proposal from the local payment council after it had taken into account objections from businesspeople.
		In responding to those objections, the city's payment council apparently recalculated the local minimum living cost and came up with Rp 565,000, he added.
