Daddy Cool was a 1970s Australian band (based in Melbourne), led by Ross Wilson and which became the most successful Australian rock act of their day.
Alongside Spectrum's "I'll Be Gone", Daddy Cool's debut single became one of the keystones of the so-called "Third Wave" of Australian rock in the early Seventies.
Daddy Cool has passed into legend as one of the icons of Australian music, and the group has been honoured both with a stamp in Australia Post's Rock'n'Roll collection, and with the voting of "Eagle Rock" as one of Australia's Top Ten Songs of All Time by ARIA in 2001.

Daddy Cool's outtakes were compiled into an album in 1980, and their catalog has been repackaged several times for Australian CD reissues in the 1990's.

This is a tight band, and having caught them at the end of their tour, anything unfamiliar to the rhythm section had been worked out.

The band Sebastian Hardie became known as the first Australian symphonic rock band in the mid-70s, with the release of their debut Four Moments.
Following the punk movement several influential bands of this so-called post-punk era were The Birthday Party led by the Nick Cave formed in 1978 and disbanded in 1984 and a new band formed that same year by Nick Cave and Mick Harvey Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds.
As well as these uniquely "Aussie Bands", 2005 in particular sparked many brand new Australian "indie rock" bands such as End Of Fashion who won ARIA awards for their debut self-titled album and hit song "Oh Yeah" (as well as performing at the Homebake festival and appearing on talk show Rove Live several times).

One night, just as the band was finishing up their last set at the club, Diablo and his men burst into the club set on taking over.
I think that Big Daddy Cool mentioned once that his character presents it as trickery, but when he dons his superhero costume and becomes The Phantom, he attributes his power to more mystical sources.
My question to Big Daddy Cool was a bit off topic but a genuine query about what he thinks and feels about the parameters of portraying a character, since he clearly has experience with a character that is drawn broadly enough to be distinct in the real world.
