The one I will discuss here, Daemonorops Draco, is one source of a much prized Magickal resin called "Dragon's Blood" (it exudes a dark red resin that burns with a bright flame) Some argue Dragon's Blood comes from Dracena Draco, however, Dracena is not a Palm but is in the Agave family.

I know that the Daemonorops draco is a resin from some rattan palm in malaysia, but I did a google search and couldn't find out anything about the actual palm, only the actual resin take from the plant.
I am wondering if there is a different name for the plant and not the resin, I'm wondering where it is possible to grow it besides it's native land, how big/tall it gets, what the actual palm looks like, etc....
or is there anyone who's an expert on the Daemonorops draco?
