Finally got pointed to the photos of my wife Mikki that were in the Daily Oklahoman earlier this week.
We rode to Newark airport with Oklahoman assistant photo editor Steve Sisney, who showed us a slideshow of the photos he took of the convention, and pointed us to the Oklahoman's online gallery which currently features Steve's photos of RNC events.

Concerned that Gray's letter might unravel a sensitive, multi-million dollar deal to privatize much of Lake Texoma State Park, Gov. Brad Henry and Fallin wrote their own letter to the corps official a few days later indicating they stood by their earlier agreement.
Gray on Oct. 31 repaid $169.40 after it was discovered he had double-billed the state for two trips to Tulsa in 2004.
Gray resigned the same week The Oklahoman asked him to comment on some of his state e-mails.

NEW YORK For the first time in 85 years, someone other than a Gaylord will hold the top jobs at The Daily Oklahoman in Oklahoma City next month.
He will turn them over to, respectively, David Thompson, formerly an executive at the Oklahoman and at present the vice president of advertising at The Charlotte (N.C.) Observer, and Ed Kelley, now the editorial-page editor at the Oklahoman.
Gaylord, who will remain chairman and CEO of the paper's parent company, made the announcement in his newspaper a little more than a week after the April 7 groundbreaking for Gaylord Hall, which will be the $17-million home of the Gaylord College of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of Oklahoma in Norman.
