British program uncovers Israel’s secret nuclear plans
The producers of the BBC program wanted to meet with former workers from Dimona who previously said they suffered from cancerous tumours due to the leaking of serious radiations during their work at the reactor.
Haaretz quoted a BBC spokesman as saying that "the program was produced against the background of developments in the Vanunu case and tries to examine the double standards of the international community, particularly the United States, with regard to Israel's unconventional weapons programs compared to those of Iraq.
The BBC spokesman denied that the program was politically motivated, adding that the British Defense Ministry declined to comment on their work, but that the producers were still trying to get a comment.

Planet Ark : Brazil nuclear plant accident discovered by media
Greenpeace has previously expressed concerns about what it calls "a dangerously high level of shutdowns" at Angra I. On May 28, thousands of gallons (litres) of slightly radioactive water that cools the oldest of Brazil's two reactors, leaked from the main system but was mainly contained by an emergency tank.
Advocates of Angra 3 say the complex is safe, clean and insist that a new reactor would reduce the country's dependence on water resources, which triggered this year's power crisis.
Opponents argue the first reactor, built in the 1980s under the nuclear program drawn up by Brazil's military rulers, has a high level of shutdowns, the reactors are too expensive and there is little space to store nuclear waste.

I have been told that Projo tv's are bad for gaming, because you can burn an image into the screen, say with a HUB on a game or something of the sort.
Rear projection TVs seem to be able to handle it much better than traditional front projection, but if a single image is on the screen a great amount of time, it'll burn in eventually(most digital cable users likely have noticed some burn-in of the guide functions after a good amount of time).
Older style projection TVs do run a risk of burning in with even just normal home use, while any new CRT has basically no chance unless you leave an image up for months.

The Daily Princetonian - Professor discovers smallest planet
The gravity of the planet causes a small perturbation in the star's brightness," said Paczynski, co-founder of OGLE (Optical Gravitational Lensing Experiment), one of the groups responsible for the discovery.
This "wink" in a star's brightness allows the researchers to calculate the mass of the planet, and the duration of the perturbation event relates to the distance between the celestial bodies, Paczynski said.
Because the planet — not so cleverly named OGLE-2005-BLG-390Lb — orbits a star about one-fifth the mass of the Sun at about three times the distance from Earth to the Sun.
