The Daimler Dingo Light Armoured Scout Car was a British armoured car of the Second World War, first produced in 1939 and remaining in service until the 1950's.
The Daimler Dingo Light Armoured Scout Car was somewhat similar in appearance to the Daimler Armoured Car, but manned by a crew of two who sat in an octagonal crew compartment, and was armed with a single 0.30 inch Bren machine-gun.
The DANA is manned by a crew of four or five protected by 12.7 mm thick armour, and is armed with a 152 mm howitzer and a 12.7 mm machine-gun.

Daimler made one (The Daimler/15), Büssig made one (the A5P) and the automobile firm of Ehrhardt in Düsseldorf made one, the Ehrhardt E-V/4.
There, where Warfare still was fluid, they met with considerable sucess, and late in 1916 more Armoured Cars of the Ehrhardt type were finally ordered.
The first copies were delivered in July 1917, and all in all 12 vehicles were made, and then used to equip five more MG-Zugs, that were used with sucess both in the East, and also on the Italian Front.
