Ideally this variant should also have a different gun, as the Dalek's normal beam weapons failed and were replaced with projectile weapons for the duration of this adventure, but I don't yet have good enough pictures of the projectile weapon to be able to model it.
Genesis of the Daleks (1975) - This is very similar to the Death variant, but the colour scheme has reverted to grey/fl (albeit a different shade of grey to the Day variant).

There is some variation in complexity, but even the more complex games (like Puerto Rico) play in a couple of hours and can be played reasonably on your first attempt.
There's a ton of extensions and variants of this game; from our experience I'd recommend the Hunters and Gatherers variant - it's a later version which ironed out some the kinks in the original game.
