Dalhousie Tiger Ian Cameron for the second year was the Harrow Defensemen of the Year.
The Dalhousie University Tigers are the powerhouse club on the Atlantic university lacrosse scene and New Glasgow native Ian Cameron, a defender, is a big reason why.
The Tigers, in just their second season, rolled to a first-place 6- 1 record in the regular season, their lone loss coming this past weekend in Antigonish to St. FX.

For the remainder of the period, the Reds forced the play but it was the Tigers who took advantage of what shots they had.

 CIS Championship 2004 Women's Report #2 - Time-to-Run Canada XCountry
Young Sohpie was absent from the Dal side at UWO and managed to sneak under 19 minutes on a fast course in Maine, thus proving my theory that Coach Henniger had at least one #5 runner in his bag of tricks.
Dalhousie's medal position is, however, the most tenuous, as they seem to have the least depth of the top sides (that is until their next sub 19 running team member comes out of the woodwork!).
His team placed a strong 4th behind Dalhousie at the UWO invite, and had 4 runners under 19 minutes on a quick course at Geneseo NY (15s 1-4 split) sans #2 runner Liz Snyder.

GUELPH, Ont. (CIS): The Dalhousie University Tigers women's team claimed its first national title while the University of Windsor Lancers repeated as men champions at the 2004 CIS cross country championships at the Guelph Lakes Golf Course.
Dalhousie becomes the first school from the Atlantic conference to win the CIS banner in women's or men's cross country.
Dalhousie's five scorers finished second, fifth, seventh, 16th and 29th for a point-total of 59.

The Dalhousie Tigers put an end the the woman hoop Panthers winning streak as they defeated the hometown squad 59-49 in AUS action at UPEI.

Friday night the UNB Varsity Reds were in the Nova Scotia capital to play the slumping Dalhousie Tigers, who had their star recruit, Mathieu Melanson (Shediac, NB) of the Memorial Cup champion Quebec Remparts, quit the team on Monday.
The wounded Tigers showed their mettle in the first period as they out-chanced the V-Reds and UNB was ahead 2-0 only thanks to the fine stops of Michael Ouzas (Hamilton, ON).
You could see the Tigers sag after that and UNB scored a powerplay goal later in the period and another in the third period.

The Tigers, led by a super-sized set of defensive backs, shut down the St. Francis Xavier X-Men with a 1-0 victory before several hundred fans at Wickwire Field in Halifax in men’s Atlantic Universities Soccer Conference action.

HAMILTON (CIS) — The number five ranked Dalhousie Tigers snuffed out the candle that represented any hope No. 4 Saskatchewan had to win the 2006 Canadian Interuniversity Sport men’s volleyball championships and ensured that there would not be a fourth straight all Canada-West semi-final round with a 3-0 (25-21, 25-19, 25-23) victory over the Huskies.
The win by Dalhousie, which has reached the CIS tournament for 27 straight years, advances the Tigers to Saturday’s semi-finals against either the top-seeded Alberta Golden Bears or the No. 8 McMaster Marauders.

Coach Partridge is surely not looking past Dalhousie because they have shown the Sea-Hawks already this season that they will be coming to play, but as always he will be looking for a great performance from the lady hawks that they can build on for the following matches.
The Tigers and the Sea-Hawks now find themselves tied in the standings sitting in the basement of their division.
