| | Skinny's Music :: Dallas Crane "Dallas Crane" Review (Site not responding. Last check: 2007-10-13) |
 | | Two years on, and Dallas Crane (Who are vocalist/rhythm guitarist Dave Larkin, vocalist/lead guitarist Pete Satchell, new bassist Pat Bourke and drummer/vocalist Shan Vanderwert) have once again entered the studio for their third (And self titled) release, and the results are very different for the band, yet just as worthy as past releases. |
 | | The catchy number is full of the Dallas Crane gusto of old, while the swinging ‘Iodine’ adds a touch of dirty blues into the mix, while incorporating a chorus that doesn’t follow the predictable path by most. |
 | | In tradition of great Australian rock acts, Dallas Crane proves that it’s the songs in front of a live audience that will stand the test of time over image and overexposure, and with ‘Dallas Crane’, the band certainly have those, and a whole lot more. |
