	Damageplan Review
		Damageplan was heralded before they even got on stage.
		They do have a few great tunes such as "Save Me", "Reborn", and "New Found Power" but clearly the highlight of the night was when David, Mike and Danny from Disturbed, Trevor from Unearth and members of Drowning Pool joined them onstage for a rendition of Pantera's metal anthem "Walk".
		There were other small highlights such as Dimebag passing out shots of Jägermeister to his fellow bandmates as well as his own ten to fifteen minute guitar solo but, if Damageplan is going to escape the memories and comaparisons of Vinnie and Dimebag's former band then they have a little ways to go.

		After Pantera went their separate ways in 2001, Vinnie Paul Abbot and the late Dimebag Darrel Abbot went on to form Damageplan and this CD "New Found Power" was the first CD of the unfortunately short lived venture by the Abbot brothers.
		Damageplan doesn't follow the same stylings as Pantera but the direction of this group was still very good.
		This CD may not be as heavy as Cowboys From Hell, Vulgar Display of Power or even Far Beyond Driven but nonetheless, the music is artistically sound and Dime and Vinnie show their technical prowess as well.

		What many of you may not be aware of was that during his tenure as one of Halford’s guitarists, Lachman was also the guitarist and backing vocalist for his own band called Diesel Machine, which featured metallic nu-metal.
		The use of Patrick Lachman on vocals is both a blessing and a curse, since he falls short of Pantera’s Phil Anslemo as a screamer, but surpasses him as a clean-vocal singer.
		Dimebag Darrell, listen up: have Lachman sing instead of scream on the next Damageplan album, and you are sure to have a winner.
