Damien Richard Martyn (born October 21, 1971 in Darwin) is an Australian cricketer.
Following a poor Ashes tour of England in 2005, where he recorded a total of 178 runs at an average of 19.77, Martyn was dropped from the Australian Test side to play in the ICC Super Series 2005.
Damien Martyn appears taking a catch from Steve Waugh's bowling during U2's Zoo_TV:_Live_From_Sydney show when Bono, in his persona as The Fly flicks through TV stations and breifly settles for one channel showing a cricket match when introducing the song Even Better Than the Real Thing.
