Duncan Lee Hunter (born May 31, 1948), American politician, has been a Republican member of the United States House of Representatives since 1981, representing the 52nd Congressional District of California (San Diego County.
Hunter's son, Duncan Duane Hunter, a First Lieutenant in the United States Marine Corps, was deployed to Iraq in 2003.
In November 2004, Hunter and Wisconsin Congressman Jim Sensenbrenner blocked the bill that would have created a National Intelligence Director (NID).

The Commission has received an application for approval of proposed divestiture from Dan L. Duncan; EPCO, Inc.; Texas Eastern Products Pipeline Company, LLC; and TEPPCO Partners, L.P., concerning a recent FTC order related to the applicants’ natural gas liquids storage facilities in Mont Belvieu, Texas.
Following a public comment period, the Commission has approved the issuance of a final consent order in the matter concerning Dan L. Duncan, EPCO, Inc., Texas Eastern Products Pipeline Company, LLC, and TEPPCO Partners, L.P., and authorized the staff to send a response to the commenter of record.
