Dan Gable not only was the greatest at his sport ever, he was just as dominate as he became the greatest coach in his sport, perhaps in any sport.
Gable epitomizes the state of Iowa as he grew up in Waterloo, became a Cyclone as he wrestled at Iowa State, and then became a Hawkeye icon as their wrestling coach.
Gable is widely recognized as the greatest wrestling icon in the sports history and is still battling to keep it alive in the collegiate ranks.
