DAN HENNINGER: The only way this is going to happen is if George Bush goes into the country and sells this idea, and if the country responds.
DAN HENNINGER: And on the very positive side, he adjusted, he changed, and he responded to the base for the first time.

 Welcome to IASPS
Henninger is about to underscore his point by a reference to the ex-candidate’s own “greenings” by showing why the Party ran the former leader of the Viet Nam Veterans Against the War for President of the United States in the midst of another war –is misplaced.
What Dan Henninger and the WSJ say (and suppose first emerged in the 1960s) was about to become the national basis.
But Dan Henninger (who, struck to the core by 9/11, is one of the best) sees this Elite "11/2/04" assault as leaving everything in place.

Dan, a New Haven resident with summer freckles, red hair and a sarcastic, yet friendly disposition, was diagnosed with Hodgkin's disease, also known as Hodgkin's lymphoma, early in the fall of 2004.
Dan asked, "Honestly, doc, tell me what are the chances, percentage-wise, that while I'm going through radiation I'm going to develop super powers?" Dan says she laughed, then continued to explain the course of treatment.
Dan underwent surgery to implant a port so he could receive the chemical cocktail through a large blood vessel in his chest and not through his arm.

Recently, Wall Street Journal deputy editorial page editor Dan Henninger argued that it was time to "get serious" and put the war on terror at the forefront of the 2004 presidential election campaign.
Incredibly, Henninger thinks this is the Democrats' fault: "Let me stipulate that it was the Democratic Party — or at least John Kerry, Howard Dean, and John Edwards in pursuit of the presidency — who chose to turn a major American war into a partisan dispute, and therefore a voting issue."
The fact that Henninger and other conservatives are ducking those questions should tell you everything you need to know about the answers.

How Much is Terri Schiavo’s Life Worth? by Jude Wanniski
What Dan is saying is that the general electorate, young and old, has the most at stake in working out the rules as best it can before the tsunami hits, and Ms.
But as Dan Henninger wisely noted, our society is soon to be hit with tens of thousands, perhaps even millions, of Terri Schiavos, who could be kept alive indefinitely by the taxpayers… which is the only realistic source of such funds.
There is of course a process by which society answers such questions, and Dan Henninger is absolutely correct in saying the answers are worked out in the open, not in the closed sessions of Congress and the courts.

Dan Henninger's 1/20 Opinion Journal column catches up with a disturbing trend in "infotainment" news.
