	Moving Violation - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
		Moving Violation, released in 1975, was the final regular studio album released by the family quintet The Jackson 5 on Motown Records.
		By the end of their six-year run in Motown, all five Jackson brothers had matured dramatically in both age and vocals: youngest member Michael was, at 17, the only non-adult in the group.
		After this album, the Jackson 5, at the behest of father Joseph, left the Motown label after securing a new deal with CBS Records.

		The biggest hit from this album was a bouncy tune from a Motown-produced Broadway musical called "Pippin": "Corner of the Sky", which peaked at #9 (R&B) and #18 (Pop).
		With raw, extended dance tracks and exciting vocal arrangements, it kind of reminds you of the metamorphosis that the Temptations underwent in 1968 when they began their "psychedelic" phase with "Cloud Nine".
		The two albums that followed GIT (DANCING MACHINE - recycled again for that album - and MOVING VIOLATION) were the group's final offerings for Motown and both of them were heavily dance-oriented and ahead of their time.

		Raised in Gary, Indiana, USA, by their father Joe, a blues guitarist, they began playing local clubs in 1962, with youthful prodigy Michael as lead vocalist.
		Combining dance routines influenced by the Temptations with music inspired by James Brown, they first recorded for the Indiana-based Steeltown label before auditioning for Motown Records in 1968.
